A small firm, built by people who do the work themselves.
Finnovia Consultants is an accounting and finance automation practice in Karachi. We were built around a combination that usually sits in two different companies: people who can close a set of books to a standard that survives review, and who can then build the systems that stop the same work repeating every month.
Why we exist
The gap we were built in.
Every business we have worked in was paying for the same manual work twice. Once when someone did it, and again when someone else checked it.
The problem we kept seeing
The tooling to remove most repetitive finance work has existed for years. But the people who understand accounting rarely build it, and the people who build it rarely understand accounting well enough to know which parts are safe to automate and which need judgement.
The result is that most small businesses either get a bookkeeper who does everything by hand, or a consultant who automates a process nobody fully understood. Finnovia sits between those two, deliberately.

What we believe

These are the positions that cost us work sometimes. We would rather lose the engagement than the standard.
Accuracy before speed
A fast wrong number is worse than a slow right one, because people act on it. Nothing gets reported before it reconciles.
Automation last
Automating an unstable process just produces errors faster. We do the work by hand first so we understand it, then build.
Say the boundary out loud
We prepare tax work and coordinate with licensed filers. We do not claim licences or certifications we do not hold, in any jurisdiction.
Where we are
We are based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, and work with clients here and in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, the UAE and Australia. Local clients can meet in person. International clients get agreed overlap hours rather than a promise of constant availability.
